Profile Video of Christopher Madias, MD
Being a cardiac electrophysiologist, one of the things that I find very rewarding is the chance to actually cure a disease. There’s very little in medicine that we can actually cure, surprisingly, and certain heart rhythms are actually curable with ablation procedures. It’s very gratifying to have a patient come in with frequent complaints of palpitations, and to be able to actually get rid of their palpitations with a relatively safe procedure such as a cardiac ablation is very rewarding.
