The main impact I have in patient treatment is through their own physician. They trust me implicitly, and with that I feel terrific. But I also know there’s an obligation. If I say that there is an abnormality — there is something wrong here and my sense is that surgery should be done — I know that I better be 100 percent sure of what I’m saying because the clinician will take what I’m saying to heart and will actually plan their therapy with my words in mind. So that’s a great — I mean I feel terrific, like, ah I helped this patient out, but I also know it’s a great obligation that what I say is going to really influence what happens to the patient.
