I take care of professional athletes, Olympic athletes. I take care of weekend warriors and just the common individual that comes in with an issue. I’m really committed to do whatever I can to get them back to the health level that they want to get to because ultimately I want them to be able to get back to sports, work, and most importantly to life.
I love patient interaction. So I really like to talk to the patients, like to get to know who they are and why they’re there, and develop a long-term relationship with them. They may have knee arthritis, and I may see them periodically through the year. Or they may have a broken ankle, and I’ll see them. And I won’t see them again until a couple years after that. But I develop that relationship with them, and I really enjoy that. So I really try to spend time with my patients, get to know who they are, and then develop a patient/physician relationship that I hope is long lasting.
