I take care of women who are pregnant. I take care of women who have gynecologic problems. I take care of women just for routine health maintenance visits.
There are a lot of questions during pregnancy—a lot of anxiety. So, we work together just to answer all their questions, listen to their concerns, talk about what they’ve read on the Internet or heard from friends and family to help with any misconceptions and make them feel confident and enjoy their pregnancy.
One of the reasons I chose to become an OB/GYN is because I love forming long-lasting relationships with my patients. I find it really rewarding to take care of them prior to their starting their families and then through their pregnancies—and then long after they’ve had their babies.
