I decided on obstetrics and gynecology because I love what I do. It’s different every day. Nothing’s the same. I can do primary care. I can do surgery. I can do fertility. I can do family planning. We do a lot of in-office surgery and in-office procedures. So we take care of a woman from adolescence all the way through menopause.

I talk a lot to my patients and listen a lot. And if somebody’s very, very concerned or anxious, I’m not going to leave them. I stay and listen to them and talk with them, and hopefully we get things resolved by the time she leaves the office.
