View Transcript My primary thinking is always on the patient. I run a program that has patient care as its primary focus, but also education and research. The patients are the core of all elements of my studies. And so there is this partnership that — even when I’m working on statistics, or I’m working on a laboratory project — it’s the patient that’s the core of that question, and the patient who ultimately benefits from the scientific discoveries.
